2008 Dance company Summer Programs
Ballet Intensive
This program is recommended for all Dance Company members and is scheduled to run consecutively with your technique classes. Students interested in progressing should strongly consider this program. Check with teacher for appropriate class placement.
Dates: Tuesdays Aug. 5th through 26th
Cost: $65.00 / Discount if taken in a package program
Times:
- Intermediate level 3:15 – 4:30
- Intermediate 2 Level 7:00 – 8:15
- Advanced level 5:45 – 7:00
Jumps and Turns
The Jumps and Turns class is recommended for all levels and will allow students to continue to improve their quality and ability with both turning combinations and jumping combinations. This is a perfect class if you are trying to achieve the next level with your pirouettes. It is set up to run in combination with your Technique class.
Dates: Thursdays Aug. 7th through Aug. 28th
Cost: $60.00 / Discount if taken in a package program

- Intermediate level 3:30 – 4:30
- Intermediate 2 Level 7:00 – 8:00
- Advanced level 5:45 – 7:00
Solo and Duet Sessions
This is for those students who are considering a solo or duet etc. routine for the upcoming 2007-2008 season. Students will learn their entire choreography over 3 hours in the summer to be scheduled at the convenience of the student and teacher. There will be time during the regular season to rehearse and clean. This is a great way to alleviate a heavy schedule during the regular season. Students must be in level 5 or Elite.
Cost: Solo $400.00
Duet: $225.00 PP
Trio: $200.00 PP
Small Group: (4-8) $100.00 PP
Jazz Technique Open Class
Intensive technique dance lessons are for students in the Dance Company and Intensive Program interested in improving their overall dance skills and advancing to a new level. It is a 75 minute class consisting of stretch, strength, and progression work to enhance and improve all areas of your dance training. Students should come prepared to work hard.
This is an open class consisting of various age groups and categorized by level of dance. You are not required to attend all classes; Dance Company members should attend a minimum of 4.
Dates: Tues. & Thurs. Aug. 5th through Aug. 28th.
Cost:
- 4 Class Package - $70.00
- 8 Class Package - $85.00
- Single class cost - $20.00 per class

- Junior 3,4 - 4:30 – 5:45
- Junior 5, Interm. 4's - 5:45 – 7:00
- Interm. 5 All Seniors - 7:00 – 8:15
Elite Auditions:
This is a one time audition for those current D/C students interested in more competition routine work. Please understand that not all students auditioning will be accepted, if accepted it is a strong commitment to the team.
Date: June 30th
- 12 and under 4:00 - 5:30
- 13 and over 5:30 - 7:00
Cost: $15.00
Dance Company Overnight Workshop
We will host an overnight workshop which will include at least one Master Class as well as a variety of other classes and activities. Dinner is included as well as the sleepover.
