Winter 2009 Newsletter!

Welcome to 2009!! We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season and had time to rest and refresh.
We were so thrilled to see so many people at the studio Holiday Party everyone from performers, students and
staff included had a great time! We also want to thank all of our families for your generosity in including
us on your gift list; it is wonderful to be thought of during such a busy time.
We truly feel appreciated and blessed.

Costume Posters are now hanging in the studio lobby. Come in and check out what your dance costume looks like for
this year's recital there have been many excited children's faces in the lobby already.

Our annual Winter Competition Premiere Show will be held this year on Saturday February 28th at Memorial Hall in Melrose.
We'd like to invite all of our students to the show. Tickets will be on sale to the public February 9th. Call or come
down to the studio for purchase. The show includes a cash bar, fundraising silent auction and raffle, light fare and
of course performances from our award winning Dance Companies. The doors will open at 4:00 p.m.

Our Alumni/Adult Jazz Class is going very, very well! It's been great fun and a great work out. We will be starting
our new session Tuesday February 24th at 7:30. The only thing needed is some old workout clothes, bare feet or socks
and a little bit of energy and you'll be dancing before you know it. For registration and prices call the studio office.

Attendance is of utmost important in all of our dance classes as we really begin to work on the recital material.
Please be sure to come to class every week and all students should have the appropriate footwear for class. If there
is ever a problem please call the studio office to talk with the staff.

There's No Place Like Home! Everyone has been asking what this year's theme is for the recital. We are very
excited about the theme this year as it is our 30th anniversary and we have decided that Wakefield and the surrounding
communities have been such a wonderful and integral part of our studio that we are creating a tribute to them.
So look for some of your favorite hot spots and local gatherings and events being represented in this year's recital!!
Recital dates are: May 15th and 16th. Times to be announced.
