Dance Companies

At Dance Studio Wakefield the Dance Company program involves student's ages 7 years through 19 with levels to accommodate the different abilities and age categories. Our Dance Companies spend many hours a week in ballet, jazz, tap and yoga classes as well as choreography sessions. They truly are a dedicated group of students and have many accolades to their credit.

Our Dance Companies are a competition team as well as a performing arts ensemble. Our mission is not necessarily to achieve the biggest trophy or the highest medal standing but rather an educational process.

Students attend events that enhance their artistic expression as well experience dance classes with master teachers in many venues and disciplines. Students have the opportunity to meet new friends all over the country who have the same passion for dance and artistry and create a sense of accomplishment, self confidence and foster the dedication needed to become a successful dancer and adult.

Acceptance into our Dance Company program is by audition. The Elite team requires a separate audition and students accepted adhere to a heavier dance class schedule.
