The Dance Studio of Wakefield Gives Back...
At the Dance Studio of Wakefield we feel it is important for students to give back to their community as well as our business being an active and financial contributor to support the organizations that foster our children and their activities. Here is a sampling of our affliations.
- Toys for Tots; official drop off center and a continuing successful donation program for the last 10 years!
- Relay for Life Participants with students participating and raising over $4000.00
- Annual Wakefield 4th of July Parade sponsor
- Pilates for Pink; noted by Shape Magazine as one of the most successful youth campaigns raising funds through a pilates marathon
- WHS Dance Team; Donation of studio space for rehearsal; ad book.
- Wakefield Food Pantry; Senior Dance Companies held a Food Drive for the Wakefield Food Pantry and created a dance piece to support the drive for homelessness in our communities.
- Concert on the Commons financial contributor
- Wakefield Chamber of Commerce; members
- Williams C. Moore Scholarship created to support the artistic education of students through an essay contest.
- Wakefield Elementary & High Schools; financial donators for raffles, PTO' sponsored events and contributors to Yearbooks, Football, Basketball and Hockey Programs.
